I love ideas that help us live more meaningful lives. Maybe we can discover some of those together.

Educational Consulting

I spend my days at Pathwright, collaborating with educators

At Pathwright, I get to think about how to teach effectively in a digital age. This means writing about education and designing courses for partners like Princeton Theological Seminary, Redeemer Presbyterian Church (including the Center for Faith & Work and City to City), and other cool partners Reach Out & Read.

You and I can design together too.

Poetry & Theology

I've spent the last decade fascinated by art's ability to speak theologically. Art—and I think poetry in particular—holds power to help us become who we should be. For me, that fascination started with Aragorn's story in Lord of the Rings. Throughout Tolkien's trilogy, we see the exiled king sing himself to his purpose through poetry.

That seed of an idea led me to an MA in Christianity & the Arts at King's College London and The National Gallery, studying with Ben Quash. At King's, I honed my ability to interpret paintings and literature through a theological framework. My research culminated in a thesis on the work of Osip Mandelstam and Christian Wiman. Through their work, I explored how poetry helps exiles to preserve and grow their faith.
